The white rhino, or the square-lipped rhinoceros, has a square upper lip, which is necessary for its grazing habit. The name White Rhino comes from the original name 'Wydt Rhino' which referred to the width of its mouth. The white rhino is larger than the black rhino, and less dangerous. A full grown male white rhino can reach 2300 kg.
